11/4/20. My Election Day story is simply about the updates and personal reactions that come after election results slowly unfold.

Waking up Wednesday morning to see how tight the race is.

It’s nerve-wracking to see how many electoral votes are still up for grabs.

While it’s true that more Democrats did absentee-balloting than Republicans, it’s certainly not a good feeling to not have all the results in yet.

It’s getting down to a few more states… Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, and North Carolina.
All 4 Members of “The Squad” plus possible new members increasing the momentum of Progressives.
Back in Queens, Donovan Richards becomes the president-elect for Queens replacing Melinda Katz.

Based on polls leading up to the election, I truly thought it would be a successful night for Dems. in the House…

And only a slight success for the Democrats in the Senate.

Overall message: There have surely been a lot of ups and downs in this election, but as Americans, we must persevere united into the future years.
